"The colors of the clothes have special
meanings? I didn't know
that!" 3rd
grade boy, Decatur, IL "Program was A+"
3rd grade
teacher, Decatur, IL "I learn[ed] a lot now
I know that [the] Civil War was not over slavery." 5th grade girl, Decatur, IL "I had a really great
time hearing about the soldiers and the ladies. You gave a lot of details to
what information you gave. I learned a lot of stuff about how the ladies
dressed, and how heavy the rifles were, and how the soldiers carried their
equipment...I learned a little more about the Civil War from you than in our
text book!" 5th
grade girl, Decatur, IL "Things that I learned
I never knew happened back then! Like the men would take over with the money,
and the women were not allowed to show their skin." 5th grade girl, Decatur, IL "You have presented the Civil War in a manner that we are not capable of and one in which the students will be impacted for years to come...The technology excited not only the boys but the girls also. Allowing the students to handle the weapons and other gear that belonged to the
soldiers impressed them and gave them a historically
accurate visual aid they would not have had otherwise...It is evident that you
are all Professionals!...This has been one of the best presentations we have
seen. Not to mention, it is historically accurate!...Please continue your
educational teaching to students and our community." 5th
grade Teacher, Decatur, IL Suggested fee: $100
